Santatatertot Visitatetions

Grandpa tells Santatatertot about not being naughty, and just nice.
Santatatertot knows he has the "nice" part covered...
The nurse keeps both boys straight on the nice track.

Christmas Day!

We went to church and it was great hearing all of the exhilarating music including parts of Handel's Messiah. Then, we went to Uncle Alex's and Aunt Dana's for yummy food and more celebration. Tatertot barely slept he was so excited at seeing all the family and celebrating.

Little Santa was getting his fill of milk and cookies.

Now he's directing his reindeer.

Grandma Sabina's in the mix.

Tatertot's the best stocking stuffer there is :)

Grandma Shirley has a little Santa on her lap!

Jacob's helping with Santa's hat.

Our little present was on the floor waiting to be unwrapped...

Our Little Butterball...

Huh?

I'm Talking about the Turkey!!
YUMMmm, It was thumb lick'in good...Snore!!!!

Disclaimer:
In all actuallity, the Turkey was indeed, NOT little.
The Turkey was 18.65 lbs, outweighing Tatertot by 3.55 lbs.
And, the Turkey did not take the namebrand of "Butterball."
Therefore, you may correctly resume the assumption
that the afore mentioned personage
represented by this website's title
may be distinctly, indubidubly,
also labeled as "little butterball."

TaterTot Arrives!

Well, the Tatertot was launched into this world August 10th ! Yep, he came early. Much to our surprise, Mommy only had 1/2 hour hard labor! And pooper trooper Trevor Tate was 7lbs 1 oz amd 20 inches long. So, he's a Star Wars fan already, and we couldn't leave the hospital without the appropriate attire :)

Thanks to all the baby shower gifts of love, Mommy and Daddy have less of a hard time trying to get through post partum. Whew! Proud papa Tater and Momma Tater are very overjoyed and doing well.

One More month countdown milestone

Welp, Tatertot is going to try to meet the world soon. He actually might come early. They estimated his weight from the size of his Tater head and his leg bones and guestimated that he's around 6 lbs., 6 oz's. The first words from the doc were, "Wow, he's low!" So, Tatertot might sprout sometime sooner than his due date. So many people love him already. We had 3 baby showers. And the Winne the Pooh themed nursery is almost done. One shower from family and family friends, one from mommy's workplace, , and one from the best Star Wars groups around-- that us nutty parents belong to, the Old Line Garrison . So many thanks to all of those who gave him baby stuff. Tatertot already beats rhythmically treating mommy like a drum, probably because of mommy's piano teaching. Lots of firsts for baby and mommy and Daddy at this point. Daddy and mommy are counting down the days of freedom - the illustrious times that we've spent without the 100% increased responsibilty and attention that an infant requires. Then we'll be starting a calendar of new life with our little spud.

The biggest question is-- will Tatertot receive a real name?
Could it be, Star Wars like? Could it be a Chinese name? Biblical? Funky- and just throw everything off? or, will he be like Indiana Jones, a JUNIOR (said with a Sean Connery voice)?

Stay tuned :)

Baby Room

Finally, we painted the baby room!

Pic from the net
While looking on the net, we found the mural that we wanted to paint. We did some alterations though. Can you tell the differences?

Our Mural
We used the projector method. Thank God for Aunt Beth (providing the projector) and Doug who helped paint the doors and trim. The mural took at least 17 hours straight. (Jim did most of the mural ;) I did the tree, and some of the bottom characters.) What a relief to finally to have finished it.

Can't wait to seal that mural, so we don't get the sign "Who flung Pooh" on the walls instead...
