Ok, so this post has nothing to do with us, but Mommy told the clerk at
Lowes, that she would post about her and Daddy's French Drain system.

So this first pic is when Mommy and Daddy finished all that digging, and
finally laid the pipes down. Praise GOD, he gave them the best weather
right before the torrential down pour yesterday and today.

As you can see, Mommy kinda sloped it funny and put a little too much
soil right on top of the drain, not making one valley, but 2 formed.
It kinda helped in a sense, because after the down pour, lots of soil
washed away and evened out a little.

This is how soaked our yard got. Mommy graded the soil down away from
the house, but water still collected and some of it went into the basement.

But this last picture really showed how it mostly worked,
and the amount of water that came out was like a fire hose!

Mommy and Daddy sure learned a lot about pipes and drains these
last several weeks. But they still have to figure out how to
stop the water seeping into the basement so that Lil' sis and
I can finally have our own playschool room.
