Today, we celebrated my birthday Chinese style! 

Um, how do you pronounce that again mom?

There's my new chinese name! Pronounced: 

tiě

kǎi

lì

In chinese it means, Iron, joyful, kind, and beautiful. 

Yay! Lots of presents are going to fill up my purse.

I tip off my hat to ya's. Good day!

This is when I chose my destiny. I chose to become a doctor!

We had so much fun eating at the Chinese Buffet. 

Everyone got to take home 2 red dyed eggs for double happiness.

Although Chinese new year is 1/26/09 this year, Mui mui

might be a Chinese new year baby some time in the future, because

the chinese calendar is based on the chinese lunar calendar. 

Rose spud will be a big girl in February ~ a big one year old!

Mommy made this R2D2 costume for me in a week and for only $5.00.

Sand siftin'

Rose spud was drunk on the beach.

Daddy got the kite flying, finally.

Next, we hiked up a big sand dune to watch mommy.

There's mommy getting ready to go hang gliding. 

I was asleep in the car, and daddy thought 

he could take a good picture of themselves.

Thankfully, another visitor stopped 

to help them take a better picture.

In the end, it's all about getting 

the biggest most comfy chair.
